Area Report: High temperatures and rain have deteriorated the trails and more high temps are on tap for the next week cutting our already short season even shorter.
Starting Thursday, March 15th, the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest’s spring closure goes into effect which prohibits ATVs, Motorcycles, horses and bikes from being on the Forest roads and trails. This closure is in place to protect resources and invested maintenance dollars so please respect it! Trails and roads will re-open to these uses on May 1st.
