Date of Report: 12/23/2014
Trail Conditions: Trails Closed

Area Report: The snowmobile trails throughout Ashland County are still CLOSED. The trails will open as soon as weather permits.
Due to the warm weather the area is experiencing, much of the snow cover has been lost. Although more snow is predicted for today, temperatures are expected to remain above freezing for the next several days.
The Tri-County Corridor, a 62-mile stretch of abandoned railroad right-of-way running from Ashland to Superior, is always OPEN. The Corridor was last groomed Dec. 19 and was in great shape at that time, according to Bill Chandler, president of the Ashland County Snowmobile Alliance.
