Fair to Good Early Riding Condition
Eagle Waters Packer Game-Sno-Eagles Fundraiser moved to 3pm on Sunday December 28

Easy 5 inches PLUS of wet packy SNOW yesterday & SNOW SHOWERS right now.  Conditions have improved a bunch!

Trail Boss Tom & the drivers were out grooming last night plus Trail Boss training a new driver.  Trails laid down smooth according to Tom but he wants colder temps.  Only dropped to 29 last night.  Needs to be colder to continue to build the base.  Does look like he will get his wish starting Saturday when the high is forecast for 25 during the day & 5 overnight.  From then  forward it will be COLD with below zero temps many night.  Great for the base & the trails!

Early Riding Conditions means conditions change really quickly as you ride so be aware. There may be snow ruts on Forestry Roads we share with the hunters. Icy conditions not only in the corners but even on the straight away. There has been icy heavy snow fall which knocks down trees & branches. Last many lake trails are Not Open. Not Marked by the businesses. Not Safe! In Sno-Eagles Country Eagle Lake Trail & Catfish Lake Loop are not open yet. Need you all to THINK COLD! Looks like Cold coming in right after Christmas. That will help build the ice. Almost there.

The ONEIDA COUNTY TRAILS OPENED YESTERDAY AT 5PM.  There are some trail sections that will not open.  I am posting them here.  If you are not sure of the location contact the Clubs directly.

Minocqua Forest Riders Trail 5 in between trail 10 & trail 5A.
Minocqua Forest Riders Trail 10 in between trail 9 & trail 10A.
Three Lakes Trail 13 in between trail 217 & Alternate 13 trail.
Willow Region Trail 5 in between trail 5b to the Lincoln County Line

Trail Boss Tom is going to keep the section of Trail 3 closed between the intersection of 17N & intersection of 10W/13N. For those of you familiar with Sno-Eagles Trails it is also called the Manske Swamp. You still can take 3 from 10W/13N to Conover. Also at 17N you can head east(right). Just the short section in between.

Merry Christmas & See ya at the Packer Party on Sunday & on the trails!
