Trail Report: Crivitz
Reported By: Iron Snow Shoe – Bonnie Delaruelle
Date of Report: 01/28/2015
Trail Conditions: Fair
Snow Cover: 6+ inches
Area Report: We received a couple inches of snow, ever so slowly in the past few days. The weatherman is calling for another inch or so tonight!!! The plan is to get those groomers out there and get this trail back in shape for you.
The trail west of Parkway to Crooked Lake was already pretty good. So, this little bit of snow we have to work with should groom up real nice. From Crooked Lake north to Silver Cliff is also expected to be a good shape. Do expect some very icy corners, but it is very rideable. Also, the trail north of Silver Cliff where we meet the Goodman trail and also the trail east to Athelstane trail system is in good condition.
The high traffic areas are expected to be back in decent shape but be aware of those icy corners. We will rate this as fair, but passable.
I will give you another update once the groomers report back to me.
Thanks and ride safe…
