Sawyer County trails are open and we have good news! Northern Sawyer County received 3 inches of snow on Monday covering many bare spots. There has been some traffic, and trails along the highways do have some scattered bare spots and are in FAIR condition but the Seeley Hills and most of the Moose Lake trails are in GOOD condition.
Unfortunately, the Tuscobia and trails in the southern part of the county are in POOR to FAIR condition with scattered bare spots. The Chippewa Flowage trails and other lake trails are in GOOD condition. Please stay on marked trails and watch for ice heaves.
Thank you to all the snowmobilers who are visiting the area! Not only do you bring business to our community but excitement as well!! Think snow and watch for updates!
Thank you to the club members and volunteers for maintaining the trails! They are always looking for new members. Want to find out how to join or how to help give us a call!
Don’t forget ATV trails are also open and great for riding!
