All Paul Bunyan and Red Arrow Trails are OPEN for the season.
Red Arrow and Paul Bunyan groomed on Sunday January 11th. The Nicolet Trail (grade) and trails on unplowed roads are generally in very good condition. Those trails “in the woods” are fair to very good depending how bumpy the ground was when it froze. Riding conditions should continue to improve with the expected snow on Thursday the 8th.
Suring & Mountain
Chute Pond Snowmobile Club and surrounding trails are OPEN and being groomed today. Trails are in fair to very good condition. They may be icy and/or bumpy in areas, please use caution. Also, please be respectful to our private property owners and organizations that have given use permission to use/cross their properties and stay on the trail. Also, of note after many years, the loop from Waters Edge is open again, it is a little different as you will coming/depart from the rear of Water’s Edge parking lot.
Bagley & Brazeau
The Joyriders Club Trails are partially OPEN. Some trails are open ( BUT ) all trails coming and going to Suring are closed, Intersection 73 to 68, 69 to 68 and 68 to the golf course are closed for at least 2 weeks and maybe longer. The trails from Lee lake Intersection 74 to 75 in Klondike and 75 to Hwy 64 will be closed for one more week. These trails are closed due to standing corn in the fields, so do not try to use these trails or we will lose the trails for the year. Now that being said, the trails from Kelly Lake, north all the way up to Hwy W and the trails going west to the pipe line are open. The opened trails will be getting groomed mid-week. Although areas which may not get groomed included marshes or low areas, due to soft ground. Remember this is very early season riding so be very careful.
