Trail Report: Oconto County

Reported By: Oconto County Tourism

Date of Report: 01/14/2015

Trail Conditions: Good

Snow Cover: 3-9

Area Report: Lakewood & Townsend
Lakewood and Townsend area snowmobile trails are in Very Good condition. Paul Bunyan and Red Arrow have groomed all trails on Sunday January 11th and will continue to groom regularly going forward. Due to the cold weather and light riding pressure early this week you will find continued Very Good conditions. With a little more snow we could call trails Excellent. Come on up and ride!!

Suring & Mountain
Chute Pond Snowmobile Club – Trails are being groomed and are in fair to very good condition. Spots maybe icy.

Bagley & Brazeau
The Joyriders Club Trails are open (BUT) trails to Suring remain closed. Intersection 73 to 68, 69 to 68 and 68 to the golf course are closed for at least 2 more weeks and possibly longer due to standing corn in the fields. The trails from Lee Lake to Klondike and north to White Potato Lake are now open; also Klondike to the Colman trails open. The trails from Kelly Lake, north all the way up to Hwy W and the trails going west to the pipe line are open. The opened trails will be getting groomed mid-week. Areas which may not get groomed included marshes or low wet areas, due to soft ground. Remember, be careful in these areas. I would rate the trails as good to very good.

The Sno-Riders Club trails are CLOSED.

Oconto Falls
The Sno-Jokers Club Trails are CLOSED.
