Area Report: Lakewood & Townsend
Red Arrow trails were freshly groomed Wednesday evening. Weather is expected to cool down through the weekend so the trails should hold up well. Groomers will be out over the weekend to keep things in shape. Woods are good to very good and the Nicolet continues to be in very good condition. Paul Bunyan trails are holding up well this week with light traffic. They will be groomed before and during the weekend as needed. The temps are going to drop and trails will freeze up so be careful of ice and dirt on the corners.
Suring & Mountain
Chute Pond Snowmobile Club – Trails are in fair to good condition. Recreational Trail south of Cty AA not being groomed, some trails south of Crooked Lake and East of Hwy 32 not being groomed. The rest of the Chute Pond Snowmobile Club Trail were groomed this week.
Bagley & Brazeau
Trails are open but the trails took a big hit this last weekend again from the warm weather. The Suring trails will be closed for one more week. Maybe we can open them on Saturday 1/31/2015 if we get snow. Intersection 73 to 68, 69 to 68 and 68 to the golf course are closed. The trail to Klondike and north to White Potato Lake are open; also Klondike to the Colman trails open but is in poor condition The rest of the trails are in poor to good condition. The groomer will be out mid-week if we get more snow.
Lena, Oconto and Kelly Lake
The Sno-Drifters Club reports trails are CLOSED.
The Sno-Riders Club trails are CLOSED.
The Sno-Jokers Club Trails are CLOSED.
South County Line (Little Suamico) to Highway 22 Area
The Chase trails are CLOSED.
