Date of Report: 01/30/2015
Trail Conditions: Very Good
Snow Cover: 8″-10″
Area Report: Trails in sugar camp are in very good shape. The recent little bit of snow we received was much needed but more is needed to get them back white again. They took a good hit the past week and are pretty brown due to high volumes of traffic. Please use caution caution coming into sharp corners as most of the corners are starting to get very icy, also be aware of a swampy area on trail 15S. that is not being groomed yet due to water and not freezing up. It is a short section that will have to be tolerated. More cold coming this next week to hopefully freeze everything up. Please maintain reasonable speeds crossing lakes and stay close to the orange barrels. There is still a lot of slushy areas on the lakes and remember nighttime speed limits of 55m.p.h.as lakes are not groomed and getting rough due to drifting and high volumes of traffic. Please remember to support a club and local businesses as they both work hard to make sure everyone has an enjoyable snowmobile season!
