Trail Report For: Crivitz – 02/03/2015

Trail Report: Crivitz

Reported By: Iron Snow Shoe – Bonnie Delaruelle

Date of Report: 02/03/2015

Trail Conditions: Good

Snow Cover: 6+ inches

Area Report: It is unbelievable how well these trails are holding up with the lack of snow. We have received so many great reports back from riders that are so impressed with the great job our groomers are doing. They are out on a regular basis. With not much snow, they have had to pull snow in from the sides. This IS working. The trail is snow covered and flat.

The exception to this is the area south of the dam where there is logging going on. This has long stretches which are bare, but it is frozen, flat and passable.

Also, the roads that are trails…due to lack of snow, you will find these NOT snow covered. The roads that are groomed along side in the ditches are snow covered and very good.

The south end of the river trails still has some bare areas due to lack of snow.

Overall the trails is good to very good in most areas. The high traffic areas have a few bare spots and some snirt, but very rideable.

Come on up…I do not believe you will be disappointed…We rode almost 500 miles this week and these trails are as good or even better than any around…

See YOU on the trail…
