Trail Report: Crivitz
Reported By: Iron Snow Shoe – Bonnie Delaruelle
Date of Report: 02/08/2015
Trail Conditions: Unknown
Snow Cover: 6+ inches
Area Report: Rating the trail is getting to be very difficult. Much of the trail is in good to very good condition. However, there are definitely some areas where we need snow.
The south end of the river trail still has some bare areas due to lack of snow.
On the good side…Overall the trail is good to very good in most areas. From Parkway Road going west to Crooked Lake and north to Silver Cliff, plus north of Highway C is mostly very good. The trail following along Parkway Road from W to Silver Cliff other than a few bare spots including the logging area by the dam. The Newton Lake area is in good condition.
The riders coming in are reporting that these trails are unbelievably better than they ever thought they would be!!!
Not much snow in the forecast. Hopefully, the weather stays cold and we can keep grooming so we may make the best out of what we have.
