Area Report: Lakewood & Townsend
Red Arrow Townsend groomers were out last night and reports are trails groomed out very well, froze down, and should hold up very well for this week’s riders. Conditions are about the same with no new snow over the weekend. The woods remain in good to very good condition and the Nicolet is still in very good condition as well. Plan a trip up to see us this coming weekend as the Red Arrows 40th Annual Fish A Ree fund raiser of the will be held at the Townsend Town Hall right on the Nicolet Trail. Sat 11-6 and Sun noon-5. DJ Music, Meat Raffles, Food and lots of beverages.
Paul Bunyan Lakewood trails were groomed both Friday and Saturday nights and are in good shape. Trails held up well to the heavy traffic over the weekend and with the cold weather in the forecast will hold up for the coming week. Come on up and Ride!!
Suring & Mountain
Chute Pond Snowmobile Club – Groomers were out January 31st, starting to get a lot of bare spots around the trail system. Rating West of Mountain in good condition. Boulder Lake Area and south and east of Mountain in fair to poor condition.
Bagley & Brazeau
Poor – All the trails are open. The East trail to Klondike and north to White Potato Lake and also Klondike to the Coleman trails are in very poor condition. The rest of the trails also are in poor to fair condition. The groomer will not be out this week.
Lena, Oconto and Kelly Lake
The Sno-Drifters Club reports trails are CLOSED.
The Sno-Riders Club trails are CLOSED.
The Sno-Jokers Club Trails are CLOSED.
South County Line (Little Suamico) to Highway 22 Area
The Chase trails are CLOSED.
