Area Report: Lakewood & Townsend
Red Arrow Townsend Trails were all groomed Sunday night.. The woods are good to very good and the Nicolet Trail is in very good condition.
Paul Bunyan Lakewood Trails had moderate traffic over the weekend with Saturday being the busiest, The trails held up well since most of the traffic was heading north.
Both clubs report cold temp’s early in the week so the trails should hold up very well. Finally some snow is in the forecast for the greater Lakewood/Townsend area. Starting later Tuesday they say we could expect 2-4 inches by Wednesday night. Groomers will continue to run as long as snow conditions permit.
Suring & Mountain
Chute Pond Snowmobile Club – grooming will be held off until snow comes February 10 & 11th. Trails are in fair to poor condition.
Bagley & Brazeau
Joyriders report: The trail from Kelly Lake, north to Hwy W, through the woods are good. If we get the snow on Tuesday and Wednesday we can groom on Wednesday. We will then be able to get the trails in the open areas back to fair to good condition. The east trail to Klondike and north to White Potato Lake and also Klondike to the Coleman trails are in poor condition. The rest of the trails also are in to fair condition. The groomer will not be out this week if we do not get snow.
Lena, Oconto and Kelly Lake
The Sno-Drifters Club reports trails are CLOSED.
The Sno-Riders Club trails are CLOSED.
The Sno-Jokers Club Trails are CLOSED.
South County Line (Little Suamico) to Highway 22 Area
The Chase trails are CLOSED.
