Trail Conditions: Very Good
Snow Cover: 6″-8″
Area Report: The trails in sugar camp are in very good condition seeing that we have not had any significant snowfalls in the past couple weeks. With the recent bitter cold we are having now the trails are setting up very nice and staying that way. Moderating temps forecasted for this weekend into the 20’s will bring many snowmobilers into the area so as in previous reports use caution on all corners and steeper hills as they are very icy so adjust speeds accordingly.Make sure to stay close to orange barrels on lake crossings and maintain reasonable speeds as lakes are not groomed and are getting pretty rough due to high volumes of traffic and drifting. With a little more than a month left in this snowmobile season all we can do is keep hoping for more snow to finish out the season strong with excellent riding. For the time being we just have to work with what we have so when you pass the groomers make sure to give them a thumbs up for keeping the trails in great shape for everyone to enjoy. Always remember to support a club and local businesses as you ride. United we trail divided we fail!
