Trail Report For: Sugar Camp – 02/26/2015

Reported By: Sugar Camp Snowmobile Club

Trail Report: Sugar Camp

Date of Report: 02/26/2015

Trail Conditions: Very Good

Snow Cover: 6_10″

Area Report: The trails in sugar camp are holding in well and are in very good condition. With the recent small amounts of snow we have received it has really helped to whiten things up and the bitterly cold we have been having are keeping the trails very hard along with little traffic. Please use caution as in previous reports that corners are getting very icy along with steep hills so adjust speeds accordingly and stay close to orange construction barrells when crossing lakes. Not all lakes are designated trails. Also be advised that logging has started on trail 12 heading towards three lakes so use extreme caution in this area as logging equipment will be present. With about a month left in this snowmobile season weather permitting hopefully we can finish it out right to the end on march 31st so get out and enjoy our awesome trail systems of northern Wisconsin! Remember to always support a club, local businesses, and to thank a private land owner if you know any of them as this sport wouldn’t be what it is because of their generous use of their property during the winter snowmobile season. United we trail divided we fail
