Snow Cover: 6-14 inches
Area Report: Price County snowmobile trails are in excellent to good condition. The trails are firm with a few bare spots and some icy corners. Forecasters predict 3 to 5 inches of snow for our county on Tuesday, March 3. Cold temperatures will follow on Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures in the upper 20s are forecasted for the weekend. Trail and weather conditions should be perfect for weekend of riding. The long-term forecast calls for temperatures above freezing, so, it would be wise to plan a ride for this upcoming weekend. Groomers are out day and night. Please slow down when approaching a groomer and wait for the driver to allow you to pass. Stay on the beaten path on area lakes to avoid drifts and ruts. Conditions permitting, trails will remain open through March 31, 2015.
