Trail Report For: Crivitz – 01/19/2016

Trail Report: Crivitz

Reported By: Iron Snow Shoe – Bonnie Delaruelle

Date of Report: 01/19/2016

Trail Conditions: Unknown

Snow Cover: 2 to 4 inches

Area Report: Well…I have good news and bad news.
First the good news. The groomers are going out tomorrow (Wednesday) to see what they can do with these trails. The little bits of snow we have gotten here and there have not accumulated to much, but we are hoping to have a half way decent trail with this grooming. The River Trail is NOT going to be opened due to lack of snow there…the rest of the trail will be reopened on Thursday morning.
Now for the bad news. Expect ruts and holes. Expect some bare spots. Beware of waterways. The cold weather did help this out, but stay away unless marked trail. Also, respect our landowners. If you come to a closed gate, please do not venture around. The main hub of the trail will be open.
I will update you again after the groomers have reported in.
Thank you…Bonnie
