Reported By: Price County Tourism Department
Date of Report: 01/07/2016
Trail Conditions: Early Season
Snow Cover: 2-9 inches
Area Report: Although the trails are officially open, some gates may still be closed, swamps may be impassible, there may be trees down, and the trails will be rough, rocky and wet in some areas. Ride with caution. Lakes currently are NOT safe for riding. Snowmobile club members have been riding some trails in preparation for panning and/or grooming which they hope to begin next week. Temperatures are predicted to cool into the single digits beginning Sunday which will help freeze the wet areas. Winter ATV and UTV riding is allowed on approximately 100 miles of trail; visit our website for more ATV trail information. The trails remain open to snowmobiling through March 31, 2016.
