Reported By: Price County Tourism Department
Date of Report: 01/14/2016
Trail Conditions: Fair
Snow Cover: 3-11 inches
Area Report: All snowmobile trails will have been groomed or panned by the end of today, except for several sections that are impassable with the groomer due to swamps not being frozen. There is one trail closure east of Catawba due to an open creek on Trail 80 just north of Corridor Trail 181 and south of Intersection 99. All trails are rideable with trail conditions varying from fair to poor. Be cautious as there is minimal snow cover in some areas and conditions may be rough, rocky or wet. Some lakes may NOT be safe for riding due to thin ice in some areas; lakes should be avoided until they are marked. The trails remain open to snowmobiling through March 31, 2016. Winter ATV and UTV riding is allowed on approximately 100 miles of trail; visit our website for more ATV trail information.
