Mason: Trail #4 is closed from Horstman Road to Mason, and Trail #63 is closed from Bibon Road to the Tri-County Corridor. The new Trail #4 EAST of Mason connects with Trail #9 in Ashland County, then to the Tri-County Corridor. From the south, take Trail #63 north. Cross over Bibon Road onto Wilson Road and follow it to Highway 63. Cross Highway 63 onto Brown Road and then follow the trail signs to Trail #9. Take Trail #9 north to the Tri-County Corridor.
Namakagon: All trails are groomed and in very good condition. Please exercise care and take it easy to keep them in good shape to make it through the warmer weather over the weekend – trails won’t be able to be groomed again until we have colder temps. Thanks to the Drummond Sno-jacks and the Barnestormers for their help while we had equipment issues!
Cable: Trail 90 is closed due to logging in the area, a suggested reroute would be to take FR191 (Old Grade Rd) to trail 80.
Iron River: All trails in Iron River area are in good/very good condition but we are asking riders to use restraint during warm up as it can be very detrimental to trail system.
Washburn/Bayfield: trail 1 between 31 and 51 hasn’t been groomed as it needs to get brushed. Trail #1 between Highway 13 and Lenawee Road is open but will be plowed for the rest of the season.
South Shore: Trails in and around Herbster have been groomed and are in great shape for the weekend. Trail 1 from the Iron River to Touve Rd. is freshly groomed and in good condition. The next grooming will depend on exactly what the weather and traffic dictate. Trail #1 between #31 and #51 is not groomed and needs to be brushed. Trail #1 between Highway 13 and Lenawee Road is open but will be plowed for the rest of the season.
Please ride with respect to all that make this happen! Enjoy and ride safely!
