Area Report: All snowmobile trails are open and in very good to fair condition. It snowed 1 to 2 inches Tuesday night. All trails are being groomed at least once or twice a week. Trails away from town and the ones less traveled are in good condition. The trails are snow covered, the surface is hard, and they may be icy in some areas, especially on corners. The base is thin in some areas and there are a few spots that have dirt or rocks showing. Road routes and road crossings may be bare. Stay on marked lake trails to avoid slush, ruts or thin ice.
The trails remain open to snowmobiling through March 31, 2016, conditions permitting.
Winter ATV and UTV riding is allowed on approximately 100 miles of trail; scroll down for details. The Pine Line Trail and trails in the Prentice area close to winter ATV and UTV riders when the temperature rises above 28 degrees.
