Trail Conditions: Fair
Snow Cover: 1 inch average on the trail
Area Report: –
The warm & rain from last Friday and continued warm on Saturday turned our trails to mush. Now with some colder temps – it is frozen mush leaving very little loose in many areas for lube & cooling. Town trails and anything exposed are frozen snirt. It DOES get better deeper in the woods and further north.
The trails are ridable. I spoke with a couple riders I saw yesterday and they said it is perhaps a little better out there than you might think but they were not planning any long trips either.
Scratchers would be a good idea right now. The biggest word right now is ICE! Good carbides and ice pics are definitely a good idea right now.
We ARE supposed to get a little snow today. It will not take much to make these trails pretty good again. More snow is forecasted for Thursday and Friday. Nothing big – but like I said – it won’t take much. Stay tuned! I will update again on Friday morn.
