Trail Conditions: Unknown
Snow Cover: 2″ base
Area Report: Cable Area Trail Report – Tuesday, March 1
The snowmobile trails in the Cable Area are thinning, and while we still have a couple inches of base of snow, corners are getting icy and roads are clearing. The stick trails are still up on Lake Owen and Namakagon as we still have enough ice to be safe for riding.
Temperatures are going remain below freezing this week and the groomers are still out on the entire trail system; no significant snowfall is expected for this week. If you come prepared for end of season riding conditions, you won’t be disappointed!
Trail 90 is closed due to logging in the area, a suggested reroute would be to take FR191 (Old Grade Rd) to trail 80.
