Sno-Eagles TRAILS  OPEN
Fair this morning
Still Icy, icy even under new snow

John Z was out grooming Alt 13S 13N, 10W, 7N to Bo Boen Trails, One ways and trails toward Bauer’s Dam and Conover Trails and back into the Groomer Barn on 13. Trail Boss Tom groomed all of 10E, 9 Mile Trail, 13S to Sugar Camp Trails, 7S the Paint Ball Field, Kathan Inn Trail and back in on 13 to the Groomer Barn. Both drivers got back in this morning after 2 really long runs.

There is good to very good riding out about 6 miles east of Eagle River.  Traffic that way and riders saying good and most snow covered with others icy.  They thanked Sno-Eagle for continued grooming.  9 Mile Trail off of 10E is snow covered and looks good.  Farther east you can pick up the Three Lakes Trail we call the Kimble Creek Trail.  It is groomed and in good shape too.  Or head toward Alvin/Nelma and Phelps where trails are pretty good and groomed. In Eagle River it is better with the 3-4 inches of snow but still Poor with plenty of snirt at the road crossings.

Alternate Trail 13S from the 13S and 10E intersection is good as well. With some open areas not as good.

Sno-Eagles holding off removing the barrels on Catfish Lake & Eagle Lake.  The barrels froze in too tight to get out. The temperatures are going to rise next week so will remove at some time this week.  Stay tuned.

The temperatures are going to rise so this could be the last weekend.  Time to ride.

The 11 clubs of Vilas County Snowmobile Alliance with the assistance of the Parks & Recreation Administrator decide together when to close trails.  Trails, conditions permitting can stay open until midnight March 31st.

Do The Dance!  Ride it while we got it.
