Trail Report: Forest County
Reported By: Forestry Department
Date of Report: 03/04/2016
Trail Conditions: Fair
Snow Cover: 4-6
Area Report: –
Trails are in FAIR to POOR conditions, depending on where you ride. The base is icy and fast so ride with caution. The weather forecast is showing mid to upper 30’s for the weekend but, cloudy. There is a chance for 2-4 inches of snow Friday night into Saturday Morning. If we get the snow, Saturday will be the day to ride.
The Forecast for Monday and next week will be warm with the chance for rain. Because of this, Forest County will be closing trails on Monday, 3/07/16, at noon.
We cannot stress enough to RIDE SAFELY and responsibly. Trail conditions can vary greatly throughout the County. Use caution when crossing lakes or frozen water as ice conditions will vary.
The clubs that maintain the Forest County Trail System are made up of volunteers who work very hard to provide the best trails possible. Please respect them while on the trail and allow them to do their job.
