Area Report:	They say it isn’t over until, “the weight challenged lady sings”! With our 10th day of daytime temperatures near 50 degrees and rain falling as I write…. I think I hear singing! Here in Vilas County we hold tight to the March 31st closure for our trail system and the same goes for Iron County and Michigan. However, unless we get a foot or more of snow we’re asking riders to respect our private land owners. Much of our trail system crosses private property and when the trail is void of snow riders leave the trail and encroach further and further. Please don’t do this! We are indebted to our land owners and hope to have their cooperation next year. With that in mind the Presque Isle/Winchester Trails are CLOSED unless we receive a foot or more of snow.
