Just wondering what you think about a 2000 SRX 700 with 2300 miles, all stock. Asking price is $1950. If I get it, I was planning to put a SEAT JACK on it and use it primarily as a 2-UP, but also as sled for me to ride when my wife is on mine. I've never ridden one and my biggest question is if the rear suspension can handle 2 riders? The wieght of both riders would add up to about 300lbs. Also, is the 700 motor the same 700 that is in the VIPERS? Any advise, is welcome! Thanks, Rick

Sounds like a very good price on the sled. Kelly Blue Book wholesale is $1,800 and retail is $2,600. My opinion is that You are pushing that rear suspension with a second rider. Maybe cosider having springs and shock re-worked. Good Luck and think Snow.

Those are Solid machines and that is a good price.
You will prob need to beef up the suspension as mentioned.

The SRX would be possible the worse sled to ride two upper on stock it has about 4 " of travel... Main diff between the Viper and SRX motes was da trippler pipes...
