I have a 2007 F1000 that is just a big dog you let it idle for 15-20 seconds after riding and then hit the throttle hard it seems to build up inside and is a big dog. the machine just doesn't have the power it seems a 1000cc should have got smoked by a 2005 F6 it runs great but just doesn't have the torque it should have I talked to someone with a 2008 and he said he put a D@D y-pipe and a cold air intake kit and just flies is that something i should do will it hutrt the motor could i just put the y-pipe on and not the air kit what the cost of that stuff is it something i could or a dealer needs to a few suggestions would be good on what to do
