Hi sledders,

Looks like some early season riding will be available up north. I hope everyone who reads this is a member of their State Association and a local club or at a club in the area they ride. Membership does not cost much and without these clubs and associations we would not have trails to ride on. If you are not a member get out that check book and join! I am member of a local club and the AWSC in Wisconsin and the MSA in Michigan as I ride there a lot. That's my public service message of the day. Let's go riding!

Great advice - any specifics on what's open? Thanks

Ditto...member of MSA and local club. Getting out and marking some trails tomorrow which will actually be exciting for once knowing some snow may be right around the corner.

I would encourage everyone to get involved with the work of your local club as well. It kinda sux and ain't that much fun sometimes, but the help is needed.

You'll appreciate the trails you ride much more after you've had to beg a landowner to give you permission to use his property.
