Heading out to find snow, pointing the rig north toward the twin cities, any Snow Trackers that would like to hook up, give me a call ( 319) 270-1961 ( Bob ) Should be there by 9-10 PM tonight. Currently have 4 in the party.

never left town... road conditions turned to pure ice. My buddy which we where going to meet there ended up stranded on I35 at a dead stop for 4 1/2 hours, after putting only 40 miles on in owatonna do to rain @ 11:00 PM. With the snow conditions and road conditions at a top 10 worst, I took the high road and stayed parked, Jr. was not happy.... but understood it was for the best.
Was glad to see all of you ( Paul, Sarge, Pit, Al, Dawn, Rob, Steph, Greg, ) had great conditions and where able to get the 1st one under the belt, in some cases, its the best one.

Glad to hear that you took the safe route at least. It was pretty ugly travel weather most of saturday around here. Heard there was already a snowmobiler that went thru the ice here in the Twin Cities somewhere.
Part of my reaction to that was "i hope it was someone not from around here", when you can forgive a person for maybe not knowing where they were exactly. But when people are dumb enough to ride on something that was probably open water 3-5 days ago, you have to wonder. . . .
