4 inches of SNOW on average some areas more. Very cold again this morning. 4 below zero right now at 8:15am. High of 8 today & 18 below zero tonight. High of 18 on Saturday. Trails GOOD.
Grooming will resume tonight. No grooming last night because the wind was blowing up to 22 mph along with the SNOW. Trail Boss Tom felt not good conditions to groom. May be some drifting.
The lake trails in Sno-Eagles Country are safe with thick ice & a heafty snow cover. No mushy surface slush as of this morning. May be some drifting from the wind. That goes for the land trails too.
One last note....please remember there are other riding out there. Slow down & stay on your side of the trails. It is icy under the snow. We all up here want to see you back here for another ride.
Winter continues in Eagle River.
See ya on the trails!
