Rode 115-120 miles yesterday & found all trail conditions. The best riding is east & south believe or not.

We started out at the Bayside Motor Lodge & headed out on the Catfish Lake Loop all the way across to 12 Pines & out on Trail 10E. It looked like Trail 7 heading to Three Lakes was Good too. What a ride. Very Good conditions all the way to Alvin/Nelma. Going west of there conditions did drop off. Good, Fair & Poor. The Poor was the case near towns. Swung up north & conditions improved to Good. Leaving Land 0' Lakes Trails were Good for a bit then dropped off.

Trail 13 coming from the north to town is Poor. Lots of ice & dirt. The sun did it's damage yesterday. In town the grade is a combination of ice, snirt & grainy rolling snow. After you cross the road at the south end of town & get to the actual railroad grade conditions improve again to Fair to Good. Same for 10E until just before you cross the Bloom Rd. Sun burn there. Still ice & snow cover on Pine Rd to the Braywood short cut. Lots of snow on that short cut. Excellent there!

Catfish still has drifting on it so watch for that.

Too warm over night so no grooming for now.

SNOW showers on Saturday & full fledged SNOW Sunday!!!!!! Winter continues!

TRAILS IN VILAS COUNTY WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL MARCH 31ST - MIDNIGHT This is the norm. Don't believe any other dates you might hear.

***Trail 13 near Deep Lake Rd & Mathwig Rd - THE ONE WAY TRAILS - 1 trail is closed & gated on the south end & plowed on the north end for heavy equipment for logging. DO NOT GO IN THERE. The other 1 way is now 2 WAY TRAIL

See ya on the trails!
