The neighbor and I just got back from pulling the stick trail off of Lost Land Lake east of Hayward, WI. Plenty of ice left, but plenty of water on top of the ice too. Sticks were starting to fall on their own so we figured it was time...especially considering the forecast for the next few days. Rumor has it even if we get more snow the groomers are done for the year here. Hopefully we'll get one of those March dumps and get another day or two of riding in...doesn't look good though!
