while were waiting for the trails to open does anyone have good natured storys to tell about last years season?
2 years ago I was riding up north with a know it all friend and lost 2 hours of riding sunday morning. he started up his sled(it was about 5 degrees out) and it wouldn't move. he figured he froze a bearing or there was ice in the tunnel. after 2 hours 0f chopping and the use of a pipe wrench to free things up he finally gave up and told the rest of the crew to go ahead without him. angry, he flips the machine back on its track, starts it up and gives er one last shot. It seemed to work better with the parking brake off! He doesn't talk much these days about the incident.......................

well, i dont know how this will go over but the last one was pretty funny. My husband (Phantom Black) and I decided that after only getting a few hundred miles in for the year at the beginning of March we went with my father and brother. We were to go backpacking from Antigo to near Glidden to Saint Germain to Summit Lake and than back to Antigo. We had one day of fun riding about 230 we stopped at our first motel. Seeing we were all tired we hit the sack and hit it pretty hard. But half through the night Phantom and I bolted up in bed, there was a loud chain sawing noise coming from the otherside of the room. We discovered that my brother snores like a Vermeer chipper, chewing up wood and does not stop. It is not even a constant it goes at different speeds. After about 1/2 an hour Phantom had enough of that and decided to sleep with his helmet on. It was quite a sight. Evantually, we fell asleep and woke on the next day. We had a pretty good day of riding and night time lured on the horizon, both Phantom and I were scared of not getting any sleep. We made my brother go to the bar as we went to the room to fall asleep first. But again on the second night we woke up again around 1 am, so this time Phantom wondered outside to the bar to go drink. To bad the bar was closed, and once again he fell asleep with his helmet on. Moral of the story, if you are going with someone you dont usually sleep with carry some ear plugs.

LMAO Scotty.

That may just go along with the one about a fellow tracker being so pooped from riding at Togwotee that he was clickin' through the tv channels on the remote in his sleep:eek:, :p.

after about a month of owning my sled i realized it needed some 3d chrome on it so i decided to build a nose gaurd myself!!!! after a few weeks i thought it might of been a mistake. after buying more 3d chrome to try again i realized i might be in over my head but i finally got it it only took about a month to complete, but it was well worth it the only problem is now i have to clean it all the time. what we wont do in the off season just to have the sled in the garage so you can look at it every day.

Good to see that you're still rockin' the squirrel guard, lol. If ya wanna try some killer polish, gimme a call. I'll show ya how well it works on the two tunnels.
