With SNOW Vilas County will Open DECEMBER 15TH

The 9 day gun hunt ends today. It's followed by a 10 day muzzleloaders season. Then there is 1 Management unit in Vilas County that has a 4 day hunt. When that's done we can open on the 15th of December.

All 11 clubs have to have their trails inspected by our Snowmobile Coordinator to get them sanctioned. That should begin next week.

Sno-Eagles are just about done. Trail Boss Tom will inspect all himself before calling for a County inspection. There was a lot of wind this past summer & we have a lot of trees down. We have done a lot of brushing on all our trails. Especially Trail 10W & Trail 13 both north & South.

I will start to update the Trail Condition Phone on December 1st. We have a different answering service this year so.....if you were one of the calls that got an old message or the freaky mechanical voice I am sorry. Will not happen this year.

If you can get me any issues heading nrth this year it would be great!

Trail Boss Tom aka my husband is holding the first Groomer Meeting tonight. He planned to pan Thursday but the Inspection was changed to Thursday so I'm thinking the guys will go out tonight.

Trail Boss Tom aka my husband is out right now with the Vilas County Coordinator inspecting the trails. That hoser alwasy get ahead of me on miles with the inspection.

Dale the Coordinator will be doing inspections through the weekend. There were clubs that were not ready????
