Please take notice that there is a special section for questions, reviews and information regarding the trails folks. Those are the areas that these items should be posted in. Also keep in mind that if you have questions regarding specific trail systems, you can go into the county/club report areas and get that info. Thanks for your tume.

question for ya Howler....
When going to the "specific" area trail reports...
we use to be able to post in that area.. Eagle River, Phelps,
St. Germain.. etc..had their own special page..
is that no longer true??? There is no
forum over there any more like there was right?
Just the one member trail report section?

As far as I'm aware, that is the case. Apparetly, the new "members trip report area" is for the members to report on specific areas that they have ridden, the real deal, as one may say. The Wisconisn and more specificlly, AREA reports are supposed to be updated regularly by those who have volluntered for it, and cannot be commented on. I don't recall being able to comment on those reports, but I do remember individual sections for let's say Eagle River, ST. Germain, and so on.
I'm just the messenger on this deal.

Guess I better chime in …After reviewing the old forums mainly based on amount of activity showed us we had three major categories General - Sled Talk and Members Trip Reports. The Members Trips Reports Section were listed by States (about 30) for which a majority of them where never or hardly used. We thought it would be easier, and more inviting for all members participation to have a single forum for trail conditions and trips especially for members outside of the Midwest to post their trips and conditions rather than posting on a non active forum. The goal was to bring reports from the East, West along with the Midwest together on a active forum as a point of interest for all the members to read.
I think when you mention St Germain or Eagle River WI. that was listed under the Wisconsin State page as a topic that we had on the old format. You can still do that as I suggested in the anchored topic "We encourage all members to share with other members about your ride, the area snow/trail conditions, please list the area, town and state in your report." Just list Eagle River or St Germain WI as the thread topic starter.
Howler is right the local trail condition reports zoom in pages are listed by State followed by County or Town are non interactive "read only" pages with information provided the local sources.
Hope this helps, anybody has any questions feel free to ask
