The Sno-Eagles Trails around Eagle River are ready to go & waiting for more riders.
I am still rating the trails GOOD EARLY RIDING. Need more hard base to move them to plain old GOOD.
It is very overcast this morning & there is snow in the forecast. Some heavy LES on Christmas Day out at my house off of Trail 10E.
The Catfish Lake Loop & Eagle Lake Trails are open & marked with the orange reflective barrels. There is a fair amount of surface slush on Catfish. If that bothers you take Trail 10 instead.
We still are not grooming 10W/13 that crosses the Wisconsin River northwest of town. Trail Boss Tom wants to keep the heavy equipment off that area until it freezes up tight. So expect bumps.
