Excessive smoking

Got two 03 rev,s bought new the wifes seems fine ,mine seems to smoke alot more than hers,new reed vavles in both,switched to Ipone oil not a big change any ideas?

jetting may be a bit fat , try dropping the needles 1 position

How is oil consumption?

Check the plugs are they very wet.

Once the sled do you seem to level off or does it seem to smoke for a real long time?

I presume you have carbs, if so have you pulled them this year and cleaned them to make sure you don't have any issues?

I use about a half cup more oil than the wifes on the same run,I did not clean carbs, I just cleaned the exaust ports and one side had alot more oil in it than the other.It smokes more at an idle and when you nail it.Both plugs have alot of oil on them they are black?

Thanks for your input,got ready to pull the carbs and found my oil inlector linkage was stuck open about a third of the way so going slow it was to much oil.Must have had a buger in the spring,cleaned and oiled it and it fine.If you ever get to Gaylord MI.or S.Ontario let me know.

Great to hear, you may want to pull the carbs and make sure they didn't clog up any,
I have seen excessive oil build up and lean her out a little.
