Just had my 05 700 xcsp estimated for a incident I had yesterday with a small tree . I didn't know plastic was sooooooooooo expensive,it consited of a hood, nosepan, bumper, couple of hinges, hood guides, exhaust pipe yea I know it's not plastic, some heat foil, and decals. oh and labor $890.00,taxes $103.70, and the parts $1728.36 for a grand total of $2722.06. this is just an estimate to give to my insurance company. I hope they don't find any other damage when they start working on it which won't be until at least after the new year. Oh well gives me a chance to get out the old 87 couger and stretch her track out a bit. totally rebuilt it and put mabee 50 miles on it in the last 2 years:D

I hear you on the repairs, it gets spendy fast. Hope your insurance doesn't bock at it...
I just replaced my track again and found that my Fox Float shock had unscrewed its self and basically ruined it. The shaft rubbed up and down on the spring and ground a huge flat spot on the shaft. I figure this has been going on since Tog. as I have had a thumping noise for a while but couldn't find it. That little shock was $ 350.00 must be made out of recycled Space shuttles or something...:(

They can replace the shaft so you shouldn't have to replace the whole shock at least.

I know but that takes time to get that done and the snow is flying. Either way it cost me so it sucks but such is life sometimes. I will post a few pictures of it, if anyone has the Fox Floats be ware....
Got it all back together and should see how it performs today in the new powder we got all week.
