Has anyone looked in the classifieds on this site and seen an unbelievable deal?? Like an 04 ski-doo 600 with 641 miles for $2200. I have been e-mailing this cat a few times and not only is it a killer deal on the sled, there is also free shipping, a trailer and cover with the deal. He tells me the sled would be shipped right to my front door, but has not told me where I can see it( 4 some reason he has left that part out through 3 e-mails now)

Yeah, I read that too and thought it was an awfully good deal. Maybe too good to be true? Usually it happens the other way around where they offer to buy something at top price without even asking to see it, but will have to have an "associate" do the leg work. I guess it takes all kinds. Maybe I'll inquire on his deal and see what he tells me????

Yea, do that. That ad has been looked at 450 times. I wonder if he has to keep responding to all interested parties till he finds a sucker. The sad part is, there is gonna be somebody that falls for it, so if anyone has an extra $2200 layin around and wants to give it away let me know, I'll send my address!!

Interesting update: I simply replied to his ad asking when and where I could test-ride the sled and this is what he emailed back to me today:

Note: this is copied and pasted directly from my email acct. Note the language he uses.

Hello,
Thanks for your reply. The Ski-Doo is still for sale. As you can see from
the pictures the sled has no scratches, no dents, looks almost new. I've bought
it in Nov 2004 and used it only a little. Both mechanical and electrical
parts are working fine!
The price is $2200, in this price all costs are included!
I have all the original papers: title, warranty papers, owners manual.
In the price is also included a trailer for it!
Since this deal will be done using an THIRD PARTY shipping company to help
us closing this deal, I prefer honest buyers.
The financial part of this deal will be managed by the shipping company.
Anyway,if you want more details about this deal, please reply and I'll get
back to you with details about how shipping works.
I am waiting for your reply, so that we can move forward with this deal!

This crook replied again, still refusing to give me a location of the sled. I kept his emails, but I'm tired of playing with him already so i scared him off and told him I was onto him. Let me know if ya wanna see what else he wrote to me.

Thats the same exact one I got from him. Isn't there a law about that kind of behavior?? Can he not be tracked down and arrested for attempted fraud??

I told him I was onto his scam and that I had enough info to start tracking him down. I also told him to enjoy his time looking over his shoulder, told him to get a job and stop wasting peoples' time and that I've wasted enough time on him already. Can't hardly believe he hasn't replied again.
