polaris hand warmers

I have a 96 indy 500 and the hand warmers work once in a while and my thumb warmer doesn't work at all. anyone have any ideas. I've never messed this stuff before, so any sugestions would be helpful. Could it be bad on and off switches. The previous owner stored the sled outside maybe somthing is just coroded. What would be the best place to start looking for the problem?

Start with the switch . Also does your ignition work ? if not then replace that .

do you have power to the switches? and a good ground? you might want to start there.
