I'm looking at replacing the tires on my trailer (18.5 x 8.5 x 8). After researching trailer tires quite a bit, it seems most of them are now being made by 10 year old kids in China (like everything else now days). I have heard complete horror stories of Carlisle tires on boat trailers, yet cannot find any adverse comments for their smaller tires used on sled trailers. Others getting bashed about in reviews are made by Nanco, which are carried by Farm & Fleet and Discount Tire. Unfortunately, these seem to be the two most popular brands out there. Your input is appreciated.

been buying those farm and fleets for camper and sled trailer - no problems here. of course you do need to replace after time.

So far I've got one set of carlisle on the small boat trailer that have outlasted 3 previous dry rotted F&F tires by three years... Run'n goodyear marathons on the 3500lb boat trailer... Still run'n the whatever came factory tires on the floe trailer from 2003... Best trailer upgrade is to throw the larger 10" load range D tires on the trailer which usually requires adding a 1" shim above the axle mount.

I have had great luck with Load star tires by kenda. like Yamadooed said run 10 inch loadrange D they cost a little more but pay off in the long run
