hey does anyone out there have there pcm "tuned" for there trailer puller ? just got mine done a few weeks ago and yes i was unsure if i should do this to my 2005 2500hd but .
what a difference . with 93 octane 4 miles per gallon increase . 60 more hp. out of my 6.0 .
shift point were raised and line pressures were raised torque management was 90% removed . which is the reason alot of chevy/gmc's are a little doggy off the line . all this for $157.00 shipped . and i got to keep my original pcm . lifetime updates for shipping price .
anyone done this or have any comments ?

Did it on my old powerstroke diesel . Loved it , but I don't think I would do it again cause I don't haul anything big and heavy anymore .

I've seen, and read about Bully Dog for diesel engines.
Anything on the market for gas engines?

Well I know that hypertec makes them just depends on what your looking for I guess . Got out of the EFI trucks and bought a older Bronco . Didn't need the power anymore .

I recently pick up a 1993 jeep grand cherokee with the 4.0 need to wake up the motor. My 92 jeep cherokee 4.0 HO eats up the 93. I like the pcm update on the 6.0

Yes they make a control chip to wake up your 93 but not the 92 . Go to 4wheeldrive.com to check out the price . They deal mostly with Jeeps . I not a true jeep fan but I know that the ob1 emission systems can't be reprogramable . The ob2 systems can be I know .

EFI Live is a good program for those who want to do it themselves for gas vehicles, never done it but know people who have and love it. Thinkin about it on the New colorado but not sure if i wanna mess with any of it.

Got it on my 03 Hemi 1500. the 93 octane performance is a blast and then when i haul the sled trailer tne it for 93 towing. Nothing like going up a steep grade at 70mph and passing pple with a full load on. Right now i am tned for 87 performance. basicly just messes with the tranny. When you add cai & headers to your gasser then tune it it realy wakes up. I had just a chip you pluged into the computer but that only worked at wot. The programers work through out the rpm range. Stock truck used to just spin the tires from a dead stop now in 93 performance i roach from a stop and chirp into second. tosses your head back every time it shifts too. The one i have is super chips. they make a programer for just about any gas motor in production and with the new programers you can get up dates on line. I should have wated one more year.

this is what i had done . it was for a gas engine ! for 150 smackers
best of all you keep your old pcm and have lifetime updates for shipping costs. and while you send your tuned pcm back you just install your original till he ships it back .
