I just picked up a 99 Polaris Indy this morning for a prety good deal. I bought it realizing I'd have to stick some money/time into it. I believe I have a fuel issue but I thought I'd throw this out there. We started it there where it was sitting for sale and it sounded like a plug was fouled. We changed the plug but it still sounded bad. I know there is fire to the plug, but that cylinder wasn't putting out any heat at all. So, is my cylinder ceased up, or is it just not getting fuel to fire?? The guy said they didn't treat the fuel last year OR clean the carbs. I think the fuel is a good starting point. Any thoughts??
