1980 kawasaki 440 help plz

I picked up this 440 kawakski...runs great has like 950 miles on sled but its sounds like a car would if it has a rod knocking on the lower end..Now I called a buddy of mine and he said all them old kawasaki sound like..Is that true???

I have owned 4 sleds and none of them knocked.The disc brake rattled but that was all.The only problems I had was suspension cracking and engine trouble that was carb related.No funky engine sounds.

My son has a drifter 340 FA and as soon as I lubed the clutch it started making noise like that. check it out thats probly the same noise
