I was on my way back from the inlaws today and made sure i went over the wapsi and its starting to freeze up hopfully the temps hold cold enuf to have it froze by later this week and a little snow on top of it would make it great to ride from oj to follets ! 70+ miles>>>>>> please remmember when doing so low moor does not sell gas anymore. have to get it at the country store in follets or wheatland . :)

Lake Delhi has been frozen over for some time. Though not a big fan of the lakes. It is nice to have our snow back. Heading out tonight hopefully not to much drifting.

Some friends and I went out last night right after all the soft fluff hit the ground here in central Iowa, and I think it was the most fun I've had riding snowmobiles...then again, I haven't been riding long. The drifts, I think, were the most fun because you could just dive into them and cut a path the size of your track in 3 feet of powder. Got a little bit of snow down my shirt, but it sure was fun.

i agree ! but when the wapsi is froze smooth and a little snow on it it is an awsome ride . mostly the open water skipping ! rode last night to lowden calamus wheatland toronto got home 1:am :(

All i'm doing is a a dream/want that I have had to rid to my uncle's farm north east of Welton. Figured i would stop at Buzzy's tavern/bar for lunch. Still have not found anybody to ride from Cedar Rapids with.

I have not heard of any poker runs in this area.

not to bad give or take . rode to welton the other night . we ended up on most of our trails hitting fence rows and ditchs the open field were ruff . but over all wasnt to bad

actually after mount vernon the ditches are mostly mowed and traveled to lowden .
i rode to mechanicsville the other day . not bad . i am riding to olin sat morning they mow all there ditches from stanwood to anamosa . awsome ride ! one of the kids b ball game . after that i will prolly ride our trail system .

Me and a bunch of guys are riding saturday. Leaving from masonville probably if you are interested. I am sure we will hit lake delhi, and edgewood. with some watering holes in between. My friend who bought old red will be there so you know entertainment will be provided.
