Tonight in central Iowa we got around 5-6 inches of good fluffy powder. So my two friends, my brother and I, went for a ride. 2 Cats (ZR's) and 2 Polaris's ('98 XLT and '06 Fusion). The first part of the riding was awesome, just jump into a drift and get covered in snow, which was fun, then the first mishap...my brother fouled a plug in his XLT, so we had to stop and wait for him to change it. After that we had another few hours of good riding, then when we were a mile away from home, one of my friends on his Fusion, tried to go high around a sign, but the snow above wasn't soft, so it lifted the one side of his sled and the sign sheered the plastic, along with the mirror, right off, breaking a piece of the housing around the handlebars, and a corner off of the hood , as you can imagine, he wasn't a happy camper... Looks like a good night to be riding a Cat...only problem we had with one of the cat's was my other friend about lost a ski to a culvert. But otherwise, it was a fun night of riding.
