workin on a 96 xlt with red spring in secondary and blue in primary. its hittin around 4500-4800 and top is 8500 is that about right for this sled it seems like it should be more around 4000 at takeoff and i have no idea were the top powerband is on this sled. i know my takesoff around 3800 and tops out around 7800-8000. just seems like an awful lot of throttle just to get it to move........pleeeeeeeez help any input.

my 650 rxl had the same springs and it engaged just over 3000,might want to check roller make sure there are know flat spots and also check your buttons and make sure there not wore out.
