View Full Version : My step-father passed yesterday.

My step-father passed away yesterday at about 4:15 P.M. at the age of 77. He has been a wonderful caring step-father for 25 years to me and my family. He had a triple by-pass about 1 month ago and was doing very well. His birthday was Jan. 17 and I was told that he was ready to go home and looked better than ever and was so excited about getting out of the hospital.
When he married my mother he made a statement " You don't have to call me DAD". My response was "OK POPS" All he did was smile and gave me a hug, knowing that he was accepted into our family.
With this being said I will not be able to attend the Pres. weekend ride since I will have to fly out to Arizona for the services. I will miss this ride very much. I will be there in spirit for sure.

hey Scott we so sorry to hear about your stepfather, you will be in our prayers and thoughts. You will also be missed at the snowtracks ride, if you cant get a chance to get up this winter to ride give me a call when the weather gets better and we'll take a putt on the scoots

Scott, I am really sorry to here this bad news. Prayers for the family. I sure will miss seeing you up North. Please give me a call if you need anything.
