Id like to get a new "silencer" for my 06 mxz550 fan as i will be entering a few fan class races and would like that little extra pep. i already have a clutch on it. What silencer would be best for my sled?

Jakester, I'll leave the smart arse comment of "a quiet one" alone, keeping in mind that loud does not mean more power.

First off, what are the rules for the class? Typiclly, a fan class is stock sleds. The other thing is I don't even know of a company that makes a can for a fan sled. That being said, keep in mind that some sleds actually suffer from putting on aftermarket exhausts. The newer pipes from the factory are designed to squeeze every bit of performance out of those motors the way they sit. If your really looking for added performance, cooling and efficiency is everything. Think about a high-flow air kit.

rules state aftermarket intake, exhaust and clutching are allowed along with studs but that is it. no internal work. I didnt want it to nessecarly be that loud, just less restrictive/ more powerful
